Join Scopisto as a QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to enhance the quality of our software through expert testing and automation. With your experience in tools like Selenium and Cypress, API testing, and knowledge of databases, you’ll ensure our platforms run seamlessly. Your skills in scripting, CI/CD, and Agile workflows will be key to driving efficiency and reliability. Join us to make an impact!

You will:

  • Perform both manual and automation testing to ensure the quality of our software products, using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
  • Design, write, and execute clear, comprehensive test cases and documentation.
  • Conduct API testing and validate functionality using SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, Elasticsearch).
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand software architecture principles and their impact on testing strategies.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment.
  • Participate in Agile processes (Scrum, Kanban) and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
  • Utilize test management tools like Jira or TestRail to track and report on testing progress.

We are looking for:

  • 3+ years of experience in manual and automation testing (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
  • Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB) and API testing.
  • Proficiency in test case design, Git, and scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage priorities.

You’ll receive an assignment depending on the position you’re applying for. Take your time to show your skills and eye for quality. The assignment is indicative of the type of work you’ll do. The expected submission date is 1 week after receiving the assignment at the latest (let us know if you need more time).

One of our experienced professionals, who you will work with directly, will discuss the project with you and delve deeper into your technical knowledge, approach, and experience.
