Join Scopisto as a Senior UX/UI Designer

As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you will be at the forefront of creating intuitive and visually stunning user interfaces that enhance our software products' user experience. Your role will involve transforming complex requirements into user-friendly designs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and advocating for our users' needs. You will be instrumental in driving the design process from concept to execution, ensuring our products not only meet but exceed user expectations.

You will:

  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience.
  • Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to continuously optimize and enhance user interfaces.
  • Develop and maintain design wireframes, mockups, and specifications as needed.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs by collaborating closely with engineering teams.
  • Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards within the organization.

We are looking for:

  • 2+ years of experience​
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Interaction Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and demonstrating strong visual design skills.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, InVision, etc.
  • Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
  • Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot design issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting, including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.

The expected submission date is 1 week after receiving the assignment at the latest (let us know if you need more time).

One of our experienced professionals, who you will work with directly, will discuss the project with you and delve deeper into your technical knowledge, approach, and experience.
